Update Regarding Shipping: Mail delivery has resumed!

The Canadian Government has passed legislation to force the Canadian Postal Workers Union to return to work and Canada Post Corporation to let the workers return to their jobs.  So we can begin shipping orders again on Tuesday June 28th.  We apologize for any delays in shipping and appreciate your understanding of the issue.

We'll have more updates coming in the next week with new items.

Important News Regarding Shipping!

The Canadian Postal Workers Union, CUPW, have been on strike since the beginning of June in a labour dispute with Canada Post Corporation.  They were staging 24-hour rotating strikes in various Canadian cities up until last week when Canada Post Corporation locked out the workers.  The Canadian government is tabling legislation to force the two sides into a contract and to resume operations as quickly as possible. The legislation is due to pass anytime over the next few days depending on how the opposition reacts.

Despite this ongoing labour dispute, we can still accept orders and we can still ship orders via UPS if there is any urgency to your order.  Simply contact us to go over the available shipping options.  We apologize for delays in shipping your orders. Shipping with Canada Post should resume anytime over the next few days.

It's been a while since we've last updated, so we have several things to get caught up on with this update.

In November, our moulds for the Medium Horse Muzzle and Large Rat Muzzle were destroyed. They've since been discontinued until we make new sculptures. A new Horse Muzzle is already underway.

We've also updated our FAQ with new information.  For first time and even our returning customers, please check it out for updated information.

Halloween's around the corner!

In preparation for the upcoming Halloween season, we've been busy producing inventory and stocking up on supplies.

Finished Projects::

Here's a pair of finished custom masks. One is our Deer/Antelope Muzzle with Neutral Brow in slush cast latex, applied to a velour hood. This is worn under a fur hood with our large 50cm Antlers attached and mounted into the hood. The other mask is Fox McCloud from the Starfox series of video games.  It's made using our Fox Head Mask in cold foam latex with carved foam ears, Canine Jaw Set, buckram eyes and has an articulated jaw. Mega Update!:

Finished Projects:

Here's a pair of finished custom masks. They are both made of spandex/velour hoods on which foam latex and slush cast latex prosthetics were permanently attached to them and painted to make tight fitting mask with mobile jaws. These are ideal for LARPers and anyone not wanting to adhere a prosthetic to their face. New Items!:

Finally we have some new items.  The first two were made by request to work with our cat nose prosthetics.  A Feline Brow and Feline Chin, which can help accentuate a feline appearance for our noses. Also new would be a pair of Donkey Ears also made by request.  Although they're meant to be a Donkey, they can be used for monsters and other creatures. Lastly there are some fabric dragon ears.  We made a simple design for some long pointed ears which can also be used for horse/cow or other animals as well.  We added a few horns to it too.  Clicking on the images below will bring you to their respective pages.

We are pleased to announce that we are now the official manufacturer and main distributor of Lyonshel® Masks.



We are taking limited orders during the Halloween season as we continue to integrate Lyonshel® into our existing catalogue and studio.  When ordering, PLEASE state which date you needed your Lyonshel® mask. If we experience a high volume of demand, there is a chance that some late orders may be bumped, or may not be able to be filled in time for Halloween.  Most masks are available immediately, while some will take more time to produce until we make new master copies.
Our website has undergone a huge facelift!  We've improved the layout of our pages, expanded and simplified the menu and have removed some redundant pages.  New information includes an expanded FAQ and a guide for taking care of your prosthetics and masks.
It is optimized for IE 7 or later and any FireFox browser.  IE 6 users may notice transparency problems with some graphics.

Update: This one's for cat lovers!

We've completed the application of our wild cat nose. It's painted as a lion, and there are photos of it pre-painted as a white tiger. Then, there are photos of our cat face pre-painted as a snow leopard, cheetah and a black panther we painted up for a LARP group.

We have several new prosthetics again!  First would be the Cat Face and Small Rodent Nose, they're replacements for some older pieces that have been re-sculpted and have new silicone master copies.  Then there are some application photos of our Rabbit Nose.  Finally there are three other new pieces:  Wolf/Dog Nose, Fat Ogre Face and Neutral Monster Brow.

We're pleased to introduce our new Make-up System, "PaxShader"!
It's a line including four products: ProAdhere Adhesive, Latex Adhesive, Remover and PaxPaint.  They're available in many sizes, and PaxPaint is available in many colors.  Check out the shop section for more details.

This is another first for us,  we're carrying a prosthetic made by another artist, Swatcher.  He made this three-piece Cartoon Face prosthetic and would like to offer it for sale.  So we're distributing it for him to share his unusual art with the world.

These items are useful accessories for costumers.  The Latex Feet Soles are useful for anyone making their own mascot feet, they're also the basis we use for our mascot feet.  Also we have a new set of Cow/Bull Ears available, made for the cow mask below.

We've completed several projects over the past few months. First is a tiger mask made on a spandex/velour hood using our Large Wild Cat Muzzle, Neutral Brow and Feline Ears.  Second is a wolf mask made on a spandex hood using our Wolf Face, Evil Brow, Canine Jaw Set and Fox/Wolf Ears.  Third is a rabbit mask in 2 parts: our Rabbit Face prosthetic attached to a spandex hood, worn under a fur rabbit hood.  Fourth is a chicken mascot head made for 5 Alarm Wings.  Last is a foam latex cow mask assembled from our Fat Hood, Small Cow/Bull Muzzle, Happy Brow and Cow/Bull Ears.

Shopping Cart Update:
We've condensed our shopping cart considerably. In the previous version, each item was repeated several times in different material categories, which may have been confusing and difficult to follow. Now, there are no longer any multiple instances of our items.  Each item has a handy drop down menu listing the different materials and prices available to each item.  This should simplify navigation and better display the items.

F.A.Q Update:
Our FAQ has been updated with new information and generally cleaned up.
Shipping Update:
Canada Post has eliminated Purolator as a shipping partner for overnight and rushed deliveries, it has now been replaced with Priority One, which is a partnership between Canada Post and FedEx.  We now offer this service and we are in the process of implementing UPS as a secondary shipping option.

Silicone Masters:
Moulds become old and worn out over time, and it has become difficult to replace them all repeatedly with new sculptures and versions. Our Beast Face prosthetic has been re-sculpted three times now.  So we've started making silicone master copies of our newest pieces.  From this point on, we can easily replace moulds as they become worn out without needing to re-sculpt the pieces and we can even handle larger volumes of orders by having several production moulds made at once.

Anime North!
We will be attending Anime North this month, May 22nd-24th, where we'll have our vendor's table with a selection of ears, tails and prosthetics available for sale.  Come visit us and check out our items in person.
There are many new items and new photos of existing items in this update.
New prosthetics and masks include, Small Cat Nose, Wild Cat Nose, Large Wild Cat Muzzle, Small Wolf/Dog Muzzle, Large Wolf/Dog Muzzle, Rabbit Nose, Small Fox/Raccoon/Skunk Nose, Fox Head and Neutral Brow.

New Category!

We've created a new category for horns and horn-type items.
To start off this new category, we have a set of 50cm (20") Deer Antlers, 38cm (15") Gazelle Horns, 35cm (14")Large Curved Horns and several sizes of horns from 0.6cm (1/4") to 8.9cm (3.5").

We've completed a few new heads and some other projects.  A white tiger head and paws as well as a fox head have been finished up.  Both are made in cold foam latex, have been painted and furred and have airbrushing highlights done to them.  We've also made some custom latex tails for a customer.

This was a rather large and complicated project we've completed. It's a full sized blue dragon mascot. It features full inner muscle padding, padding for digitigrade legs and foam carved tail. It has sculpted latex horns and claws, airbrushed detail on the fur and the head has a full articulated jaw with 3-D eyes.

Pre-Halloween update! Order early to avoid the rush.

We have a few new items and some updated photos. First off, we've added new photos and videos of the Large Rat Muzzle and Small Dog/Wolf Muzzle. Then, we've added 2 new items, the Frog Mask, and Rat Ears. Some new tail photos!  We've now added the option of airbrushed shading on all our tails.  Color gradients can help create a very realistic look. Below is the short pile fur cat tail, that was in white and we airbrushed it for shading and markings.  Also new is the large bushy tail for skunks and squirrels.  Lastly, we've added a few photos of the small style of fox/wolf/husky tail.  Check them all out in the shop.

This cow partial was a rush job that we completed in 4 days.  It had a head, hand hooves, feet spats and a tail.  We airbrushed the head and it has a moving jaw. The hooves were made of stretch PVC.  Check it out in the gallery.

Many people have noticed the dragon muzzle missing from our store since it came online.  Back in December the moulds for it broke, so we've been working on re-sculpting it.  It's now available again after its long awaited return, our Medium Dragon Muzzle!  It's a little longer than the previous version, as we'd like to make small and large versions.
We also have a few other new pieces available. An Orc Face and an Evil Orc Brow for our LARPer community, a Neutral Scaled Brow to go with the dragon, and a Small Bear Muzzle.  They all are online with pictures and videos in our online store.  Check them out!

We're online!
The new site has plenty of features to explore. A new menu and layout help for easier navigation. All our projects have been centralized into one gallery. The biggest change of all is the new online shop.  We no longer have to manually process orders, the online shop has a cart, options for our items and it will automatically calculate shipping and give shipping options.
